Question: Discuss about the Project Management Case Study. Answer: The most important stakeholders of the project are the consumers, government and the retailers (Project Management Case Study, 2017). These are the most important ones as the project us largely dependent on the prospects of these parameters. The consumers are the most prime in the list of the important stakeholders. The critical success factor of the company is to analyze the needs of the consumers in a local level to do business. This will also serve as the promotional requirements of the company. The government is also another aspect, which is included in the list of stakeholders. The need for complying with the local government standards is a necessity which is the required critical success factor as the entry to the Indian channel of retailers are to be provided by these stakeholders. Lastly, the retailers are also included in the list of stakeholders in the company involved. Among them, the corporate ones are the competitors in the market and the company needs to apply relevant information for succeeding in the market. However, the local retailers are involved in the opposition of the business. To get success in the retail aspect, the local retailers are to be convinced to do business. The logistics and the supply channel is to be effectively constructed and the critical success factor lies in the regular inspection of the site to get the information. The identified resources are to be estimated to provide the detailed analysis of the time required for the completion of the project (Kerzner 2013). The minimum time required to complete the market analysis is approximately 6 months. The reason for such time requirement is the complete analysis of the market. This includes the meeting of the needs of the people involved. To do this, surveys and responses about free product samples are to be conducted. This will help analyze the needed implementation of the market. The market analysis also includes the local retailers, as they will be the company storefront in the local area. As they are opposed to the business, they are to be convinced for doing business with them. In addition, the local logistic chain is also to be supplied so that the retailers are always supplied with products. This requires inspection of the chain in a regular interval. The required human resources are the present of a management team (Schwalbe 2015). This will involve a team of minimum 15 people. They will be divided into sub teams who will be responsible for only one aspect. At the end of the day, they are to be reported to the manager for information. The work is to be effectively done with the help of leadership skills (Nahavandi 2016). The manager of the project needs to show efficient management skills for the completion of the project in the required time. As the deadline increase is not an option, the work includes the team of people responsible is to be divided into sub-teams and the manager of the project is to conduct efficient analysis of the reports received from them. The leadership skills are not only required to manage the team under them but also the retailers as well as the consumers for effective business process.
